Synopsis:
Marina is a movie about a group of kids who sell stuffs in Chennai [Mainly Marina]. Director Pandiraj has portrayed the lives of the kids in the Marina, selling goods to earn a living and how they succeed to educate themselves, and the importance of education for children is portrayed. Shivakarthikeyan and Oviya are shown as part time lovers in the movie, with their timely jokes and cute love scenes, adding to the positives of the movie.
Story
First things first. The highlight of the movie is its interesting story. There are enough funny moments in the script that revealing the story would spoil the joy of watching it.
Marina deals with the life of young childrens who sell goodies around the beach.
Director Pandiraj has said that the movie will resemble reality and is closer to his heart than his earlier ventures Pasanga and Vamsam. Also he is confident that Marina will win accolades and admiration of the masses.
The film has been released today and it is expected to repeat the magic of director Pandiraj's first venture Pasanga.
Performance
Siva Karthikeyan steals the show with his comic mannerisms. But it is Bakoda the young lap who scores with his performance. Also Oviya does a decent role as a chennai girl.
Also Jayaprakash, Pandian, Gautham Purushoth, Senthikumari, Jithan Mohan have essayed their roles with ease.
