Pawan Kalyan is going to produce and act in a film titled Gabbar Singh. This is an official remake of Salman Khan's blockbuster 'Dabang'. Pawan Kalyan plays the role of cop Gabbar Singh (Chulbul Pandey in Hindi) in this movie. Pawan Kalyan has established Pawan Kalyan Creative Works banner after the release of Khushi movie and has been contemplating on producing films. This movie will be the production no. 1 on Pawan Kalyan Creative Works. Harish Shankar whose Mirapakai is running well this Sankranthi season will direct this movie.Pawan Kalyan starrer Gabbar Singh, the remake of Dabangg has commenced its regular shoot from 9th September. A special house set has been erected in Kokapet that would be villain's house in the film and scenes on the prominent cast Abhimanyu singh, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani and others are being canned in the current schedule.

Pawan Kalyan, who will be seen in a mass role in the film, will join the sets of the film shortly. Shruti Haasan is playing the leading lady. Being directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Ganesh Babu on the banner of Parameswara Arts, Gabbar Singh has music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan's undershoot film titled Power in the direction of Vishnuvardan will release in the month of December.
